What is Arcadia Earth?

Arcadia Earth is a large-scale, multi-sensory journey through underwater worlds, fantasy lands and inspirational art installations designed to reimagine how we address the most pressing environmental issues and sustainability. Our exhibition is brought to life through immersive technology, animated by augmented reality, virtual reality, projection mapping and interactive environments and art installations, where visitors learn how small lifestyle changes could impact the future of our planet.

Where are you located?

Located at The Well, on the second floor (above Indigo) on the northwestern side of Spadina Avenue and Front Street West. The Well is located within a comfortable walking distance from Union Station, CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium, the entertainment district, financial district and waterfront, making it a central hub in one of Toronto’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.

How to get to Arcadia Earth?

Subway - We are a short walk (15 mins) from Union Station, from there proceed west along Front Street to Spadina Avenue.

Streetcar - access by streetcar is available from King Street (get off at Spadina Avenue) and from Spadina Avenue (get off at Front Street West)

Do you have parking?

Paid Parking is available at The Well and nearby parking lots, including some street parking. For more information on parking at The Well, visit our parking page.

How long is the experience?

The Arcadia Earth experience is approximately 1 hour in length; however, this will vary from guest to guest.

We recommend downloading our Arcadia Earth AR Toronto app for the full experience.

Is Arcadia Earth AODA accessible?

Yes we are. Arcadia Earth is located on the second floor (above Indigo) and accessible by elevator. The double door entrance to our main lobby is equipped with touchless wave sensors. All the spaces inside Arcadia Earth are fully accessible. Please reach out to info@arcadiaearth.ca for additional information or to let us know how we can assist you.

Is Arcadia Earth suitable for children?

Yes! Arcadia Earth is an immersive exhibit enjoyable for guests of all ages. We welcome families of all ages here at Arcadia Earth but require children to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Are strollers permitted? Do you have an area where I can leave my stroller?

While smaller strollers are allowed in Arcadia Earth, we highly recommend that you experience Arcadia Earth without a stroller. We kindly request that guests with large strollers either leave their strollers in their vehicles or check them at our coat check area. Due to fire safety regulations and to maintain a comfortable environment for all guests, we can only accommodate a limited number of strollers within the exhibit at any given time. If you have any questions or need assistance with stroller arrangements, our dedicated customer service team will be available to help.

Do you permit outside food and drinks?

Outside food and beverages are not permitted onsite.

Are there any in/out privileges?

We do not allow in-and-out privileges. Once your ticket has been scanned on the day of your visit, you cannot re-enter.

Can I bring my pet to Arcadia Earth?

Unfortunately, no, only fully certified service animals are permitted with proper documentation. However, due to the intensity of the lights and sounds within our experience, service animals are not encouraged.

What is the Arcadia Earth app?

With our app, you will be able to scan triggers throughout the exhibit to enhance the environment you are exploring with AR technology! Before you arrive, make sure to download the app!

Is this a permanent exhibit?

Arcadia Earth is a permanent exhibit at The Well.

What are the noise levels like at Arcadia Earth?

The noise levels are generally moderate. We aim to provide an immersive and enjoyable experience for all visitors. While there may be ambient sounds associated with the exhibits, we ensure they are within reasonable limits to maintain a comfortable environment.

Are the flashing lights or sensory warnings?

Please be advised that this immersive exhibit contains dynamic projections, flashing lights, dark environments, and loud sounds. These elements may pose a risk to individuals prone to seizures or similar sensitivities. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Can I change my date or timeslot?

Ticket dates or time slots can be changed online by clicking on the “Exchange Tickets” link at the bottom of your receipt email.

I am running late, what can I do?

Please do your best to arrive within 15 minutes of your ticket time, otherwise, we will do our best to accommodate you based on capacity at the time of your arrival.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

Refunds are not available per our Ticket Purchase Agreement, however, please feel free to exchange your ticket using our Ticket Exchange Policy explained above.

How do I purchase tickets for later this year?

We will be releasing more dates every six weeks, so keep an eye out on our website and socials.

Do you accept Access 2 cards?

Yes, we do accept the Access 2 card. Please have your support person present their Access 2 card to our Guest Experience team when you arrive, and they will be admitted for free.

Can I purchase a gift card?

We do not sell gift cards, but you can purchase our Anytime Tickets here: Gifting Arcadia Earth Tickets. These tickets are redeemable at any time during regular operating hours. Last entry is 60 minutes prior to closing time.

Can I take photos?

Yes, photos and selfies are encouraged as long as the photos/videos are not for commercial use.

Please note that we only allow handheld cameras on-site and do not permit any additional equipment with a general admission ticket.

What is considered a group? Do you have discounts for large groups?

We offer reduced rates for groups of 10 or more guests. Due to capacity limitations, a reservation is recommended. Please contact us at groups@arcadiaearth.ca
